Lady Gaga announces two more dates
Two additional cities will now be privy to the full Gaga experience, with announcements made today that two new concerts will go on sale for Newcastle and Wollongong.
Tickets for these two new shows will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday February 2 through Ticketek.
As 2009 was proclaimed the Year of Gaga, there seems to be no stopping her thirst for world domination in 2010 as the divine Ms. Gaga has been tearing up stages around the world.
Preceding Lady Gaga’s first headline Australian tour is the release of the freshly repackaged version of her huge debut album, The Fame, entitled The Fame Monster. The platinum release features the original tracks from The Fame along with eight brand new tracks, Telephone, a duet with Beyoncé and the latest hit single, the ARIA #2, Bad Romance.
The Fame reached the top ten in over 20 countries worldwide, with Australia the first to embrace Lady Gaga, her album clocking up triple platinum sales in just a few months as she placed five singles in the top 50 selling Australian singles of 2009.
While Lady Gaga sets the charts alight, it’s on stage where her story truly comes to life. A shifting arts-cape of the past, present and future, a live performance by Lady Gaga leaves you wondering how music survived without her.
